Big 5 Game Drives
Get the real feel for the African bushveld by going on a morning or evening game drive. Driving in an open safari vehicle, along with a qualified guide – experience the Big 5 territory of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
Please Note: No children under the age of 6 are allowed on game drives.
Amani Spa
You can also enjoy holistic rejuvenating spa rituals, massages, facials and even more luxurious beauty treatments. For a more intimate experience, try out the couple’s treatment room with its own hydro bath.

The Lodge has a dedicated, state-of-the-art conference facility and functions centre, which offers stunning comfort for up to 70 delegates in classroom-style seating. aha Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge must be seen to be believed. And once you have arrived at this treasure in the bushveld, you won’t want to leave.

Interactive Drumming
Join in and feel the vibrations from head to toe! For centuries, drumming has been a part of African culture as a form of expression and as one of the ways in which communities communicate with one another. A minimum of five and a maximum of 120 guests can be accommodated for this funfilled activity.
Quad Biking
Experience the ‘real thing’ as you ride your way up and around natural obstacles on our exciting quad trail! No experience is required, as our guides take you through proper instruction to safely enjoy this 1 hour ride hour. You will be led through the bushveld and down to the community where you will meet villagers and discover the Lodge’s involvement in a community project.
